  • Am I due a tax refund?
The HMRC definition of a tax rebate is "a refund on taxes when the tax liability is less than the taxes paid". A tax refund is a legitimate way to reclaim what you are rightfully owed because you have paid HMRC too much tax. If you have been paying your own way to temporary workplaces, then chances are you are owed some tax back for the expenses you incurred. A temporary workplace is somewhere that you're working for less than 24 months in one go. Often, people don't realise just how many of their daily expenses qualify for tax relief. HMRC place the burden on you when it comes to proving what you are owed, and they won't settle up until they have all of their information. GCI:Tax can help you, as our expert team navigate HMRC's clunky system for you! You will never loose out on the tax refund you are rightfully owed. The average tax rebate for 4 years with GCI:Tax is worth £3,000, so it is definitely worth submitting a claim with us to get back what you are owed! Take just 60 seconds to find out if the expenses you incurred in the course of your work meant that you had to pay more tax than you should.
